FACTS	WHAT DOES MERITIZE FINANCIAL, INC. (“MERITIZE”) DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Why?	Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

Please note:
If you are a new customer, for the reasons we can share your information and for which you can limit the sharing, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.

However, you can contact us at any time to limit our sharing.

What we do
How does Meritize protect my personal information?	To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We restrict access to your information to those employees who need to know it to provide products or services to you.
How does Meritize collect my personal information?	We collect your personal information, for example, when you Apply for a credit product offered through the Meritize platform or give us your income information Tell us where to send the money or provide employment information Show us your government-issued ID We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?	Federal law gives you the right to limit only Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness Affiliates from using your information to market to you Sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.

Definitions
Affiliates	Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Our affiliate includes the financial company such as Meritize.
Nonaffiliates	Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Nonaffiliates we share with may include financial service providers, non-financial companies, and other businesses.
Joint marketing	A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Our joint marketing partners include financial service providers, and other businesses.

Other important information

Notice for Alaska, Illinois, Maryland and North Dakota Residents.
We will not hare personal information with nonaffiliates either for them to market to you or for joint marketing without your authorization.

Notice to California Residents.
Under California law, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of Meritize, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent or to service your account. We will limit sharing to the extent required by California law.

For Massachusetts and Mississippi Residents.
We will not share your personal information from deposit or share relationships with nonaffiliates either for them to market you or for joint marketing without your authorization.

Notice to Nevada Residents.
We are providing you this notice pursuant to Nevada law. Meritize is licensed and examined under the laws of the State of Texas and by state law is subject to regulatory oversight by the Office of Consumer credit Commissioner.
